SEO Tool - Open Search

Open search is way to search for products in your website from the address bar of the browsers like Chrome without loading the website. This feature is provided by ecommerce giants like eBay, Amazon etc. This extension enables the same feature in your website. Sites with open search implemented will be ranked high by search engines.

If you are not aware of how opensearch work, type ebay.com or amazon.com in address bar of Chrome browser and press tab. Now you will be able to type the product you want to search. If you press enter search will be performed on the selected site. See the screenshots here.

The same feature can be implemented in your website just by copying this extension to your vqmod folder.

How to use the Demo?

Type oc20demo1.infiware.com in address bar of Chrome browser press TAB key. Type the search word and press enter. This will search the site without actually going into the site

In store settings screen, you can see the search settings under 'Option' tab
